In 1973, the Caribbean island of Montserrat issued a set and souvenir sheet commemorating the 480th anniversary of the discovery of Montserrat by Columbus. The souvenir sheet (Scott #295a) had a minuscule printing of 4,449, and has been overlooked for decades, despite being an attractive ship topical. Its current Scott Catalog Value is only $ 25.00, and it is frequently offered for 50-70% of Scott.
I view this souvenir sheet as a very low risk speculation. The market may continue to ignore it. On the other hand, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that someone will try to hoard the sheet and then pump it up with buy ads, or that investors will gradually deplete the supply.
Incidentally, I have never seen a First Day Cover of this souvenir sheet, and it wouldn't surprise me if fewer than 200 exist. Should you happen to find one in nice shape and at a reasonable price, jump on it.
